| The Romanian software companies can outsource until the UE adhesion The Romanian software companies could focus on outsourcing (application development for large companies) another 3-5 years from now on until the UE adhesion, when the cost advantage will have to be replaced with another competitive one. This is a part of the declaration of Emil Virag, Software & Services Department Manager, with the occasion of the company’s participation at the third edition of the international exhibition Outsource World London 2004. According to Mr. Virag, a possible future solution would be orienting to market niches, a model which has already been adopted by some companies from the countries freshly entered in UE. Therefore, at Romania’s stand from this exhibition, organized by the MEC – the Exterior Commerce Branch – and ARIES, Softwin presented the functional complexity and the advantages of the Call Center business offer. “ Presenting this offer, which includes multilingual services, multichannel mail services, chat, fax and voice, recruiting and training programs for specialized staff, and the SOFTWIN expertise in involvement on the external market of outsourcing contracts have proven that Romania is particularly attractive for Call Center services outsourcing”, declared Adrian Judele, Product Manager PAXATO Division of SOFTWIN. This is the first time we participate at a promoting potential evaluation for the next few years and contracts negotiations for the English market. The results obtained by the Call Center business line have fulfilled SOFTWIN’s enlargement expectations for this market bench. “ At this exhibition, SOFTWIN established contracts with companies from England, Belgium, Germany, and Holland, interested of SOFTWIN’s performance on this segment of market share. Also, companies from this telecommunications field have manifested their interest in signing partnership contracts with SOFTWIN on the Romanian market, the discussions reaching already the marketing research phase.
